Reem is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist who believes that healing is not linear and that every step forward, no matter how small, matters. Her work is grounded in empathy, cultural awareness, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. She strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted as they are.
She has supported individuals navigating emotional overwhelm, identity exploration, trauma, addiction, and relationship challenges, and brings extensive experience from group therapy and outpatient mental health settings. Working with diverse communities has shaped her ability to meet clients with sensitivity, flexibility, and care.
As a therapist of colour who has moved through multiple cultural worlds herself, Reem understands the complexities of balancing identity, family expectations, faith, and personal growth. This lived understanding informs her therapeutic presence one rooted in compassion, curiosity, and non-judgment. Her approach integrates somatic work, trauma-informed care, inner-child healing, and narrative therapy, supporting clients in gently unpacking patterns that no longer serve them.
Therapy with Reem is a space to slow down, exhale, and speak freely sometimes for the first time. She works collaboratively, offering both warmth and thoughtful challenge, helping clients reconnect with their inner strength, values, and sense of meaning. Renee was again over five minutes late. I had been waiting in the room for over 15 minutes before she joined then I found out that she wasn’t even EMDR qualified and that was the entire reason I had scheduled with her so everything has been horrible with my entire experience, Zainab was a good therapist, but she wasn’t qualified for what I needed. Allanah also wasn’t able to help me come to some realizations, but she was extremely abrasive and insensitive towards things that matter to me, which is not a quality of therapist should have and unfortunately, Renee was completely clueless about my previous two sessions and had me waste another 30 minutes of my time detailing my vulnerabilities when she should’ve already been aware of them and then finally she wasn’t even EMDR qualified so my entire experience with a shift of therapy has been absolutely horrible and I would never recommend it to anybody again.

This was my first time doing therapy and I’m so grateful for how much guidance and help I received just from this one session. I appreciate Reems help so much as she provided me with different coping mechanisms and ways to handle hardships. She was very understanding and a great listener and I’m so glad I found this site.
